Alexander Doronin was born in Yaroslavl on June, 7-th, 2002. Since 2015 he has studied in piano class in Moscow Gnessin School of Music as one of the students of Mikhail Khokhlov, Honoured Arts Worker of the Russian Federation, Honoured Artist of Russia, laureate of the Russian Federation President Award on art and literature.

Alexander has taken part in music contests since he was seven.

He is a laureate of a number of regional music competitions, such as:

2012: I prize and Prize of Spectator Sympathies in XIII International Television Contest for Young Musicians ‘Nutcracker’.

2013: laureate of XI International contest “Rotari”, Moscow.

2014: laureate of II International Contest of Young Pianists «Astana Piano Passion», Astana, Kazakhstan.

2016: laureate of 10th Moscow International Frederic Chopin Competition for Young Pianists.

Since 2013 a scholar of Vladimir Spivakov Foundation.
