Artemy Sokolovsky

Born on June 12, 2004 in Moscow, Artemy is a student of the Moscow Gnessin Special School of Music in the class of Elena Berezkina, an Honoured Arts Worker of the Russian Federation, who was named “The teacher of the year” by the European league of the Russian Federation Commonwealth.
Artemy is a participant of numerous festivals and concert projects. He performs with solo programs, as well as a soloist with various orchestras and chamber ensembles. He is a laureate of over 30 federal and international contests:
– Laureate of the X Moscow Junior contest ‘Steps to Mastery’
– First prize laureate of the Russian Federal Contest ‘Concerto for Piano and Orchestra’ in Dubna (2018)
– Winner of the Moscow International Gnessin Summer School soloist competition (2018)
– First prize winner of the Mayor grant as the soloist with Gnessin Virtuosos Orchestra (2018)
Artemy performs in Russia and internationally across various locations: music halls and cathedrals in Italy (Siena, Follonica, Arezzo, Grosseto), Vienna (Austria), Amsterdam (Netherlands), P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory halls, Pavel Slobodkin Center, Arkhipovsky Music Salon, embassy receptions at the residences of the ambassadors of Germany, Norway, Hungary, concerts at the Moscow International House of Music, the Orchestrion Concert Hall, the museums of Tsvetaeva, Prokofiev and many others.
Artemy performed with renowned orchestras such as Russian National Orchestra (under the lead of Mikhail Pletnev), Orchestra of the center of Pavel Slobodkin, Kaluga Youth Symphony Orchestra named after St. Richter, Dubna Symphony Orchestra, etc. He cooperated with conductors Alexander Gindin, Mikhail Khokhlov, Ilya Norstein, Arif Dadashev, Evgeny Stavinsky, Alexey Sobolev and others.
