Isaac Lottman

Cello

Isaac Lottman is 15 years old, he lives in Amsterdam and started playing cello when he was only 3 years old. His first teacher was Atie Aarts, followed by Monique Bartels and Charles Watt. In 2016 he has been admitted to the Sweelinck Academy, the preparatory school for the Conservatory of Amsterdam. In March 2019 he became the winner of the Britten Cello Competition. Isaac is currently studying at the Gerrit van der Veen College in Amsterdam and would like to continue his musical career at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

In addition to his love for music, he also plays football. Isaak participates in various projects to broaden his musical boundaries – for example, the international collaboration with the Moscow Gnessin Special School of Music “Hidden Gems of the Russian Romantic Music” lead by the internationally acknowledged violinist Maria Milstein.
