Ksenia Melnik
clarinet
Ksenia was born in Moscow in 2001 and started to play the clarinet at the age of seven.
Since 2014 she studies at the Gnessin Musicschool in the class of Anton Prishchepa.
Ksenia won multiple prizes in national and international competitions, in and outside Russia.
In 2012 she took part in the Summer Music Academy at Bordeaux, France and in 2013 she became a laureate of the Second Open Competition-Festival, named after Yuri Dolzhikov in Moscow.
She is part of the SANK-Quartet. With this quartet she is giving concerts and has also won prices.
In 2017 she took part in the Festival Winteravonden aan de Amstel in Amsterdam.
In 2018 she won 2nd prize in Quintet category at the Concertino Praga competition.
Ksenia is a stipendiate of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.
