Maxim started playing balalaika, the traditional Russian instrument, at the age of 6 and by now has various prizes and awards to his name from Russian and international competitions. Currently he is a student of “Nadezhda” Children’s Art School in Moscow with the famous prof. Konstantin Zakharato, who is a soloist with the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Russia named after N. P. Osipov.

Maxim is a scholar and regular participant of the concert programs by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation. In August 2019 he successfully performed at the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam.
