JOINT PROJECT WITH THE CvA
On December 19th a very special concert took place at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. The Russian virtuosos from the famous Gnessin Music School in Moscow performed together with the students of the CvA. 5 Russian and 3 Dutch young musicians amazed the public with their brilliant performance, deep understanding of the pieces as well as technical skills. The program included the works of G. Donizetti, J.S. Bach, A. Scriabin, S. Rachmaninov:
Alexander Doronin (piano) RU, Maria Koryakina (flute) RU, Ksenia Melnik (clarinet) RU, Sergey Khvorostianov (bassoon) RU, Denis Shabardin (horn) RU, Emil Grubett (violine) NL, Hawijch Elders (violine) NL, Shanne van Neerden (piano) NL.
This was our first joint project with the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and we are hoping for many more to come, making such musical exchange a recurring event in the nearest future. We are really happy to have had this chance to support the young virtuosos, allowing the talented children from Russia and Holland to play together on one stage, share musical experiences with each other and create new friendships.
