THE HAPPY ORGANISTS

The project NEW BACH finished yesterday and this morning our talented young organists departed back to Moscow. We are all a little sad because during these intensive 10 days we grew so very close that it feels almost like family. Thank you to everyone who put their passion and effort in this initiative, it was such a pleasure to work together as a team.

Дорогие девочки Стефанида Ермолаева, София Красная, Лиза Хисина и Мария Черепанова. Спасибо большое, что вы приехали и подарили нам чудесную музыку и радость общения.

Lieve Nederlandse meisjes Anuschka Micaela Pedano, Maria Eugenia Pedano, Maaike Van Dijk. Dank jullie voor de mooie muziek, voor het samenspelen en voor jullie stralende glimlachen.

The all-ladies-playing-Bach ensemble would have never succeeded without the Artistic leader of the project, wonderful saxophonist Vitaly Vatulya. Not only did he put together this beautiful program, but also debuted as a conductor and premiered the arrangement of “Back to Bach” by J.D. Michat for organ and saxophone. Chapeaux!

Thank you to Maria Nemtsova for your positivity, energy, enthusiasm and continuous support.

A special heartfelt thanks to an amazing person who worked behind the scenes putting the logistics together – Alina Povalyaeva always cheerful, encouraging and ready to help.

The Moscow Gnessin Special School of Music is always a fantastic party to work with. Their highly professional team lead by the Director Mikhail Khokhlov made this project happen. And of course – thank you Orgel Festival Holland, Bert Huibers in particular.

We are so very grateful to all our host families in Alkmaar and Amstelveen: Margarita Roesja, Olga Liberova, Renske en Sophie De Vrede, Bert Huibers.

And to the volunteers Maya Klimkova Olga Anisimova.

And this is – to be continued
